Tiguan Engine
No matter the trim, the Tiguan is powered by a 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder engine that produces 184 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. The turbo engine is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic®, which allows you to shift manually for more control on Cleveland roads. The Tiguan S earns an EPA-estimated 22 mpg city/29 mpg highway rating with this engine. The front-wheel-drive is standard but can be replaced with a 4MOTION® all-wheel drive on select trims.
Note: Front-wheel-drive Tiguan SUVs get three-row seating, while all-wheel-drive models get standard two-row and optional third-row seating.
