What is a Volkswagen Brake Fluid Exchange

In your brake system, there is a brake fluid reservoir holding the brake fluid that is cycling through the system. During the service, a certified technician will flush the old brake fluid from the reservoir and make sure it is out of the system. Once removed, the brake reservoir will be filled with new brake fluid and then run through the system so that the fresh fluid is cycling through. Our technicians will test the brake system to ensure all is working before releasing it back to you.

Why Do I Need a Volkswagen Brake Fluid Exchange?

This service is something that needs to be done periodically, especially as you add more miles to your Volkswagen. Over time, the amount of fluid will diminish due to use and evaporation. It will also start breaking down from the particles and dust being carried through the system. The fluid acts as a filter but will start to break down very much like a filter when it is full and has absorbed too much. If you do not have enough fluid or have quality brake fluid, your brake system overall will be impacted.
