Chuggers Bar & Grille

At Chuggers Bar & Grille, you can find live entertainment every night of the week, including karaoke every Wednesday night from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The daily special on Wednesdays is a large one-topping pizza for $5, so you can enjoy a great night out without breaking the bank.

The menu also includes a wide selection of delicious bar foods if you need something else to fill you up. Try ordering some of the outstanding appetizers to go with your pizza. Chuggers has options like smothered nachos or fried, pretzel bites, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, potato skins, loaded pierogi, sliders, potstickers, and much more. Don’t miss the signature Monkey Balls, which are a house bland of cheese, spicy sausage, and peppers.

Most entrees are under $10. Your options include some of the best burgers in the area, sandwiches, wings, as well as pizza. There’s even a kids menu if you have younger members along in your party. For beverages, you’ll find an assortment of beers including domestic beers, craft brews, imports, IPAs, and draft series. There are other near-beers like Mike’s Hard Lemonade and non-alcoholic beers like Beck’s and O’douls on the menu, too.

Domenic’s Pub

On Friday nights, Domenic’s Pub has karaoke and a DJ from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There’s no cover, so you can pop down and sing your heart out even if you’re on a budget. The laid-back environment here is casual and welcoming with a pool table and keno on hand for additional entertainment.

Domenic’s serves a full menu of classic pub food. If you’re in the mood for munchies, try the fried cheese, sauerkraut balls with honey mustard, jumbo shrimp, or caprese tower with layers of mozzarella, tomato, basil, and balsamic vinegar. The wings are always a popular pick, available in medium hot, hot, BBQ, teriyaki, and garlic parmesan flavors. The menu also includes sandwiches, burgers, and specialty pizzas.

You’ll find a full bar here with all your favorite brews and mixed drinks. The martini is especially good if you’d like something sophisticated to sip between songs.

The Zephyr Pub

The Zephyr Pub has karaoke Mondays so you can start your week off on the right foot, or at least shake off your Monday blues in the evening. This restaurant is a spacious pick with three floors to enjoy. There are bars on the ground and third floors, and outdoor decks and patios that offer plenty of fresh air on nice evenings. Outdoor heaters will banish the cold on the multi-story patio, so the only thing you really have to worry about is rain or snow.

In addition to the karaoke, you’ll also find pool and ping pong to enjoy. The eclectic atmosphere caters to a little bit of everything and draws a large and diverse crowd. Zephyr’s motto is “Keep Kent weird,” and you can even get it emblazoned on a shirt for all to see.

While the drinks are abundant at Zephyr, food is not. Fortunately, Taco Tontos is right next door, and you can order ahead by phone and pick up your food at the window on the patio. Taco Tontos has everything you would expect from an outstanding Mexican restaurant, including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and tostadas. Everything is customizable with a list of 43 add-ons you can include in any dish. These range from sweet potatoes to pineapple salsa to ghost peppers, reaper peppers, and smoked chipotle so you can get the flavor exactly the way you like it.

Barro di Mario

Barro di Mario offers karaoke every Wednesday from 9 p.m. to midnight. Inside the cozy establishment, you’ll find two full bars and fun amenities like pool tables and darts. The space is divided by a series of knee walls so you can easily tuck yourself away with your party if you’d like.

Though Barro di Mario doesn’t serve food, you can grab a bag of popcorn on karaoke night if you need to put something in your stomach. The bar delivers a wide selection of brews including domestic beers, imports, IPAs, and craft beer. There’s also a full liquor selection and cocktails on the menu. The selection of whiskey and vodka is particularly extensive.

River City Bar & Grill

At River City Bar & Grill, you’ll find karaoke on the last Saturday of the month at 9 p.m. This spot draws a lot of regulars who come again and again for the friendly atmosphere and long-time servers that have gotten to know their patrons well. The low-priced menu includes sandwiches, wraps, burgers, wings, soups, and salads. Most sandwiches are under $4 and even the Rodeo Burger topped with bacon, cheddar, BBQ, and onion rings is only $6.50.

On Saturdays, you’ll often find specials like $4 Bloody Marys and $2 domestic 16oz beverages.
