The top engine is a 2.0-liter turbo-4 delivering 210 horsepower and 207 lb-ft. You can choose a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, both transmitting power to the front wheels. The Corolla base engine is a 1.8-liter I-4 with 132 horsepower and 128 lb-ft. A slightly more powerful version is available putting out 140 horsepower and 126 lb-ft. Corolla uses a CVT automatic to power the front wheels.
